GOOC 2010 EU Finals in Mallorca

Just thought that it was time to have a dedicated topic for that event so we can share pics etc. as usual

Fist, some infos !

GOOC EU Finals 2010 will be in Palma de Mallorca at the Meliã Palas Atenea Hotel; place chosen by Gigabyte for the European finals of the GOOC 2010. For those EU finals as for the whole GOOC this year, one person from each EU country will be joining the competition on Mallorca.

The benchmarks :

• 2 hours for : PiFast & MAXXMEM
• 2h20 for : SuperPi 8M (mod 1.5) & WPrime 32M

So what is so special in those EU Finals ?

First, as some may probably already know, the first five teams will be joining the Worldwide Finals that will take place in September (Date TBC) in Taipei, Taiwan ! In addition to this, the winner will get some sponsor products of course and a 3000USD cash price

Overclocking-TV staff (Herwawan & Xyala) will be on stage for providing the live broadcast, pics and tweets from the battle. As for the other GOOC editions, search for the #GOOC2010 tag on twitter for all the live tweets from our press friends!

But this is not all ! Probably the biggest fans and followers of OC competition topics on forums already heard about a great new feature that OCTV is going to introduce during this event.

The first Live audio discussions broadcast 100% about OCers, Overlocking and what makes our passion for it ! Many guest have responded to our call and some others are to come. We will have Overclockers from almost each participating countries as well as special guest from Gigabyte HQ, HWBot and even benchmark developers (prepare your questions and join the chat) !

yes these steppings are unfortunately but that's all we got given from Intel

wish they were like 300F572x steppings for the guys instead heheh

Dino , Do you guys @ GBT find any solution for crappy CPUs in final ? at least CPUs differences should be very little for final . It's 2D and no GOOD CPU definitely leads NO chance FTW .

BTW , Hope too see Elpida Hypers in Final :P

hicookie pretested these CPUs as well and they were all within about 100-150Mhz he said!

Finals actually have two days >> first day is prep day and second day is competition day (at least thats what it was like last year )
