The max voltage depends a lot on what chips you are running. Most of the newer ICs don't like more than 1.7v anyways so why waste time at 2v?

at AMD its no limit for voltage RAMs, u can use 1.4V modules or to 2V modules. Example A-Data 2000X can up 2.1 V in specification, yes, this is crazy for warm etc, i using 1.6V and 1700 MHz cl 7. Its balanced for me.

For CPU IMC (CPU-NB) u can using about max 1.5V for 24/7 (Denebs), Thuban a bit lower (1.45V). More say u AMD master Chew

I do ~2v to 2.15v 24/7 for about eight months now, I don't think Ph2 suffers from high voltage RAM at all.

    CPU/NB for Thubans: 1.475v

For DDR3 mem modules specified for 1.5v:
According to JEDEC[2] the maximum recommended voltage is 1.575 volts and should be considered the absolute maximum when memory stability is the foremost consideration, such as in servers or other mission critical devices. In addition, JEDEC states that memory modules must withstand up to 1.975 volts before incurring permanent damage, although they are not required to function correctly at that level.

the am3 parts do ddr3 and ddr2 on the same IMC so i would assume that they will take atleast 2.2V (standard ddr2 oc voltage for the time of am2+, and its got ddr2 support to support those systems), im running my micron gts with 1.85-2V or thats what the bios settings are and it dosnt seam to be unstable or degrading but ive only had my 1090 for a week. i was on a 720 before that and it ran for a year with 1.85-2V

right now 6-6-6-18 1T about 1400mhz 1.85V. my ram dose not like any lower voltage. i can keep those timings with 1.9xV up to like 1650-1675mhz

Nice RAM Mine wants 2v for 1450MHz 6-6-6-18 and 2.15v for 1600MHz 6-6-6-20 (always has, it hasn't degraded. OCZ SLI DDR2000).
