the fastest and least painful way is to check the cpu in another board...
as for the board not posting, happens when vtt is too high or any other voltage is too high...
there are many reasons though that ause this so its hard to tell...
try this, remove the psu for like 5mins, after you removed it hit the power button to drain all power and hit the cmos reset button
it might work fine after this... if not, do the same but switch the bat discharge jumper to make sure the bios gets cleared...
if this still wont work, check if the board is really clean and dry...
take the whole thing apart, then put it back together and try again...
you should check if there are any bent cpu pins as well... hmmm thats about all i can think of for now...
