Bloodrage tuens on, but no POST Codes

I did a DICE session on my bloodrage last sunday, and now, two days later, when i try to turn it on, all of the fans spin and LED's light up, but there are not POST codes and the board will not POST.

Also, at the end of my session I was surpirsed to find some liquid in the socket, (probably due to my shoddy insulation) but the board and CPU still worked well.

I am fairly sure it was Acetone, as it left a residue when I let if dry out.

i also found to little black spots on the bottom of my chip, near two pads right next to each other.

i just need help clarifying if this is a problem with my board or if I killed my chip.

    thanks!

    welcome to XtremeSystems

the fastest and least painful way is to check the cpu in another board...
as for the board not posting, happens when vtt is too high or any other voltage is too high...
there are many reasons though that ause this so its hard to tell...
try this, remove the psu for like 5mins, after you removed it hit the power button to drain all power and hit the cmos reset button
it might work fine after this... if not, do the same but switch the bat discharge jumper to make sure the bios gets cleared...

if this still wont work, check if the board is really clean and dry...
take the whole thing apart, then put it back together and try again...
you should check if there are any bent cpu pins as well... hmmm thats about all i can think of for now...
