    Thuban,MaxxMem and Mem @2126Mhz

You read it right chew* twisted my arm to join the June MaxxMem comp over at HWBot here and I've been working at the DDR and DDR3 sections. After I finished up my latest DDR3 submission tonight I decided to see where the Corsair GTX2 would go on my Crosshair IV, SS Phase setup. I had to back off the tight timings I was running at 1900Mhz+, but the following is bootable straight into Windows, ran MaxxMem, took the screenie and called it a night. Yep, it's unganged too. I'm still on the 801 bios for the Crosshair IV also, I'd like to flash the latest but I'm not sure as long as this things running ok..LOL Obviously the score is non-competitive as you really need a NB of 4000+ combined with tight timings to take advantage of this speed, but for me this is a milestone that I wish DDTUNG were around to see

    Best regards,

    Randi

    WOW!!!
That impress's me Randi (I may be easily amused though... )....
Those GTX2's are impressive kits, shame they're so dang expensive.

Still possible to tighten the timings Randi ? Good IMC and tweaking skills you got there...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

If your fancy is bigger bandwidth numbers, heres a MaxxMem run with the ram at a bit lower frequency with tighter timings. If you want to see brutal LN2 numbers, check out the link in my first post for chew*'s blast in the competition. I think if I had extreme cold and could get over 6Ghz(only on 404A Prommy) I'd give the team some numbers to be proud of. Enjoy !

Heh I think my ln2 numbers are likely bad, that was like first time I ran bench.

Now that i understand the bench better and swapped out for a more reliable ch4 ( @ -192 ), should be easy to beat my previous ln2 result

MaxxMem is funy... 939 cpus... less cache = more score...change clocks in windows = no more score.

I hope we are lucky today, so we can borrow a singel core cpu today..

BTW why are the bh5 clocks so low?

Very sweet nb / mem #'s MrIcee out of you and AMD ! I have another ch4 coming Mon. My first was buggy with the nb voltage , kept loosing the volts/nb under load . Another odd thing , my board the cpu/nb voltage went to first red right after 1.275v ( thought that was not normal right away ) , helping out 3 of my friends with there ch4's , 1.325v was first red warning voltage on all 3 . Hope I see a better board this time . Usually I am extremely lucky with new parts . btw my nb temps were 45c to 53c depending on ambient , removed the hs day 1 .

    @chew - try these timings:
    7-7-6-18-4-27-8-4
    7-2-4-4-4-110-7.8-1T
And HT Link @ 2680 or 2948 MHz
I played around a little bit with MaxxMEM today and got best result with this settings (7-7-7-18 @ lower DRAM & NB Frequencies then you though, dram/nb/ht: 1600/3000/2700 MHz)
If you find, better ones - please share

You got it my man But tell me oh AMD swami, how much voltage are thy putting through thouest GTX2 to pulleth those tight timings? I have been reluctant to push more than 2v because I only have one set of sticks that I incidently gave a kidney to purchase

PS. I just got home from taking the wife to dinner, can I call you in the AM?
What time is good? Let me know

1.72v believe it or not, I posted shots with crazy speed and AOD open before for non belivers. My set scales clocks but more voltage just tosses errors in memtest.

Anytime is fine i'll get up or be up.

you beat the above score with those settings you posted? If so bugged run

It changes based on ram, based on clocks etc etc etc......6-6-6 is actually very very fast.

It appears asus is slower than msi at this bench at same ram clocks 6-6-6, thus i've taken a diff route which MSI users can not follow.

No absolutely not as you see i'm only at 800 MHz
But i see in your ss: 7-7-6-19-11-1T
    HT L: 2144 MHz
so i suggested: 7-7-6-18-27-1T and HT L: 2680 MHz instead, with some subtiming...
But hey, i think you're on top of it...

yah i have to drop to 19 becasue the sticks dictate i do so for those speeds. 11 is faster for me in this bench.

    Randy here take a look,

    Hey Bro

Listen, I believed you my man I was just wondering because I could not set TRP to 6 no matter the voltage up to 2V. It would hang D5 at post. Unless there is a trick I have not discovered, I figured it was just my set of sticks.

Ahh ok yah it's due to a combo of timings.

Other way around on the Asus mb (atleast with my mems/subtimings)
Noticed the bench a bit sensitive about right HT L/NB F combo, that's why i suggest ed you to up your HT L a bit

Very nice MrIcee I am envious

Could I beg off you or anyone else to post a thuban running ram at 2000mhz with the timing table from CPU-Tweaker like Chew did on the Intel.

Ive been racking my brains out all day trying to break 1840 on the DFI board in sig with Adata ddr2000 99924's.
I know the board doesnt support 2000 but I will not rest until I can deem the timings required unattainable.

    You'll inspire hope
