theey are made of fire retardant materials, so when the power inverter they use blows up, starts on fire, then melts everything, the CCFL stays in tact.

I might buy one to see if the UV is brighter than the AC Ryan and Sunbeam junk I have now. I used to have a really really good pair of 12" cathodes but they burnt out after a few years

These could be awesome for some kind of interior lighting, but I can't imagine why I would put them in a computer case.

Just like with ricers, its nice to have to show off inside the case. Not really to run 24/7.

Now where is the post button?

Oh there it is... 3 pages to the right.

This, plus this is blatant advertising

I feel like if you were going to put a CCFL in your car...er computer case you either would have already, or there is a cheaper way to do it...

You should really have made it completely clear that you were selling the things, the advert/first post is at least a little ambiguous.

i wouldn't call this extreme news, more like advertising. so perhaps it would be more appropriate in the liquid cooling or the case/hardware section?

nothing too special about this CCFL, but to be more fair, it does look a little more cleaner than the ones out so far. imo, how successful this product will be will be based on price and maybe put a few years warranty on it? i've had some CCFL die on me
