    H55M-UD2H vs H55M-USB3.0

We all know how awesome this motherboard is becoming. I hope it's price stays below 100$ for me to enjoy a budget i5/i3 build.

    Here are the images:

(This is not 3D btw )

Anyways, the performance of the UD2H is not questionable at all. I don't really have the flexibility of buying both and trying them out, but what do you guys think?

The ironic bit is the USB3.0 has the full 8pin CPU power connector, so that would mean better power right?!

your right.i would have a hell of a time deciding between the two.
on one hand the H55M-UD2H is an awesome OCer and has the proof to back it up.
but the newer USB3 does look like it might be just as good, and the 8 pin power would
seem to suggest better power delivery.so i dont know what to tell you except i would
just get the UD2H if you dont need USB3 at all.

Nobody needs less features, we always want more! Doesn't seem that many have experiences with either. I'll have to be the first I guess!

still the UD2H is a proven OCer.just look in the extreme section
guys are hitting 321bclk and 6.0GHz+ OCs left and right.
cant really say whether the USB3 will do the same?

thats my dilemma. devil_mcry said what I had in mind, what appears to be is that it is a better board. With no testing to back it up.

well if this helps at all, the h55n usb3 is a beast for a mini itx mb and dinos22 has taken a 655k to 4.9 3d stable, so I would imagine that the USB3.0 would be a decent clocker as well since it has more power phases and an 8 pin connector.

    I am about to go get my h55n usb3 right now. . . .
