what i would suggest is maybe trying to find volt limts for IMC but keep in mind that a lot of guys say retail CPUs die easier with over 1.5 VTT (gbt tends to undervolt VTT a bit so you may be able to use more but measure it under the socket)
Yeah, that's what I usually do, the clarks Ive tested seem to have a high VTT limit though... Need a new bios for to keep testing though.

Im curious as to where you measured the VTT from on ud2h? One thing ive had problems with though is the high Vcore it suplpys. I.E. if I set it to 1.48 it give 1.51.

Not sure if this has something to do with the CB/CBB mod though.

Yeah, i think OCP is keeping me at 5.5 ghz. Seems to be the limit I got with this first chip of the new 5 i got.

    Feedback on the VTT.

CPU is i3 540 retail. 225mhz bclk with 1.41vtt. Anything more than 1.41volt, rig failed to boot up at all. Was on air, though. For my case, upping the voltage to the gpu core to 1.8v help in getting higher bclk. On F10 official bios from giga webby

    Not bad not bad

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

Thats interesting. I figured anything past 1.5v on the GPU would have no affect on bclk. Mebe ill try that and see if i can get a few more mhz out of this little guy.

Hi Mad, thanks for posting this thread and turning me onto this board. I had the best luck with this board out of all my 1156 boards. I think it should be in the motherboard hall of fame!
here are my results from last weekend on this board using a i3 540. I did the pin mod on the cpu. I was on the last of my ln2 so i stuck mainly to fast cpuz screens. I cant wait to rebench all of my clarksdale cpus on this board. my 540 score went from 5300mhz cpuz to 5663mhz.....nothing in comparison to Mad's results. I still cant get over that oc he did. mindblowing!

Ln2... Was running at like -180c.

It killed them fast to. I was running trying to get to 6ghz for super pi... Like 10 min later i cant even boot at 5.6. ):

Almost positive thats what killed them to. When i turn on the system with one of the dead cpu's it will boot, then the monitor will come on, then the monitor will go off again... It will keep doing this for as long as i let it.

Seems to me around 1.5V is the max safe limit for gpu vcore, i havnt tested between 1.55 and 1.8 though. Id keep it at 1.55 to be safe.

Also, high vgpu lowered the limit of vtt. At 1.8 vgpu i could only boot into windows (without bsod) at 1.37 vtt.

Sorry for any typos, on my phone.

    Thks for the update.

Guess I better lower the vgpu. But will it be due to sub zero that kill the chip?? Mine was on air though

Here is my simple testing result with bclk at 225mhz

The max I can go on air is 4.7ghz. Might be limited by heat. Full load is about 83 degree c as reported by RealTemp.

chip is degraded it needs more vcore to boot/ post. I have the exact same thing with a i5 670.

    OP, Awesome chip and mobo!

^That was what i was pointing out. (;... The Damn vgpu killed it. Im
pissed that i sidnt see what was killing them until the third chip.

    @memory
I think it is a combination of having a high vtt and a high gpu that will kill it fast. Those two definetly seemed to have a relation.

are you setting gpu voltage even with a pci x16 vga card? or using the onboard?

Im benching right now with a i5 660 and ln2. I have the official bios from the gig site f10 bios but i noticed in the ET6 it freezes when I adjust vcore but the beta bios from the last page allowed the vcore adjustments. Im going to revert to that one.

    FYI

I highly doubt the mod makes as much diff as the fact that he binned and I quote "dozens of chips"

The real question i think you should ask is how many "dozens" do you need to bin, OCP won't limit you in PI i imagine
