So how did your testing go without the special BIOS? Able to do 300bclk with the i3?

best chip did 270 -70 ss and 273 LN2 @ 1.49VTT max settable with normal bios

Im going to try F9D today, just downloaded it from tweaktown aswell.
Hope i can get that VTT going, els it´s a waste aswell.

qpilink i tried 20X to 32X (board is cool with high qpilink i tried 40X )
disbale all onboard/cpu futures etc, tried all cores

going to flash the F9D bios now atleast, fiddle a bit on AIR first, 'unknown' with the whole H55/P55 platform right now.
will keep you posted. thanks for the settings, good push in right direction got 25/30L LN2 left, hope my mobo can deliver. or bios can deliver..

Hiwa, i flashed the F9D, says same as #52, toolius. i will try,but what happend when you set over 1.5V VTT, it just wont boot or?

Nvm, this bios also cant select above 1.49V VTT. would be nice if someone could share, but i dont think any public bios will go higher then 1.5V , unfortunately.
Wonder how 2/3 people here got them then :p ...

Hmm, testing on air for a bit. i've gotten up to 245block on air now, but crappy part its 2:8 mem divider , i boot @ 220 bclock, and with 2:8 mem divider i can get up to 245 and even higher i suspect.
2:6 mem divider when i try to set at 223mhz bclock instant bsod. Lame. i dont have that crappy memory, but i dont think i can do 2250+ mhz with decent timings.

Dont think cold will solve that issue :S , will try more, but lame :/

i tried the f9D bios too and no luck
wish we had that unlocked VTT bios..
going through every bios in your list sir hiwa and will see if i find something !

no luck yet, i did do CB/CBB mod, still i had -100CBB / -120CB , perhaps mod wasnt good, will try again.
didnt get above 260mhz bclock , freeze above that. which is crap!

Will try the other cpu, perhaps if that works better or w/e , but this is crap so far..

allright .. got a i5 650 , 2x 661's and a 670 and going to try as well this weekend
But it looks like special bios or hard mod to get more than 1.5v vtt .. so no chance of really pushing.. but will try for max bclk with 1.5v VTT

testing a bit more, new cpu. this one, or perhaps i soldered it better now, has CBB/CB @ -160. didnt get above 265block yet.
But it doesnt like booting with high QPI voltage, anything over 1.30 - 1.35V it wont boot. really low QPI freq wont boot either, 12x or so.
or isnt that a limiting factor, 24x @ 260 or so is like 6,5ghz. isnt that too high?

Bought a board, and tried +10 530 chips in last 3 days with F10 and F9 bioses
max VTT is 1.49, seems some special bios or NDA mod ? it's not GTX480 lol, understable why GBT doesn't share mods or bioses.
