Remember though, it's not 32nm as what Newegg is posting. It's still 45nm... :-(

I'm waiting on my gigabyte board. Should have it by Thursday... Then I'm going to play with the 875k and see what I can accomplish with this puppy!

A modified Thermalright Venom. The Venoms have an adjustable bottom bracket that the 4 holes slide about a quarter of an inch in any direction. What I have to see is if it'll affect that bottom metal bracket that the CPU socket is connected too.
yes i requested that LLC is removed from future bios updates only for i7 lynfield as it hinders overclocking
there are some other minor changes
I installed the latest flavour of LinuxMint on my GA H55N-USB3 without any problems
VERY nice OS for those not tied to M$
lots and lots of cores and lots and lots of tuners,HTPC's boards,cases,HDD's,vga's,DDR1&2&3 etc etc all powered by Corsair PSU's
I recieved the Lian Li PC-Q08 mini-ITX Case today and after some measurments it's clear that the Thermalright AXP-140 will fit on the millimeter. There is room for drop a 140x25mm fan over it, then there will be 10mm up to the PSU intake. Perfect!

Why don't you just cool it with an H50? It fits perfect in the top fan slot of that case and actually leaves a lot more room for airflow in general, not to mention that it will provide some serious cooling for most any chip you would use with this board.
I installed it in a push configuration with the fan suckin in air from the outside through the top grill and over the H50 radiator mounted just below. For $60 it can't be beat. Better cooling for the chip, better cooling for the motherboard, just better cooling period.

Nah, it's too noisy. The pump is not exactly dead silent, and this build is meant to be a media PC placed in living room and on 24/7. The performance from the H50 is not what I would expect from a watercooling setup. I strongly believe that the Thermalright AXP-140 performs better as well.
BTW, how do you reason when you say that you get better cooling for the motherboard?

curious to see how that AXP-140 performs, as I have a friend that is interested in purchasing one.
I have been using my Venomous X for the last month and it has been cooling my 650 almost as well as my water cooled 655k. Both are running the same mobo and memory and they both can do 4.5 with reasonable voltages.
You will really like this board
The H50 might not match your typical W/C setup, but I doubt the AXP-140 can match it without a noisy fan.
Got 4.53GHz 1024M stable:

Anyone have any of these chips die on them yet? It's going up to 80C on load.
hey fellas
who's up for a 32M SuperPi challenge on these boards?
I'm in, once I get a CPU, so try and hold off a bit

i am working out the details dont worry there is plenty of time still
and air guys are in with a chance just start to read up and practice your tweaking skillz for SuperPi
Nice to know!
I need to better my SuperPi skills anyway, maybe this will help!

Has anyone tired this board under subzero yet?
Looks so good on air, interested to see if it hold up when cold.
james has
kicks ass
that 1210Mhz 7-7-7 run was done subzero
Temping, but I can't afford to kill a board or a chip right now. Barely scratched enough dough together to afford my build as it is.
I will run some super pi stuff at the highest speed 24/7 safe, just so people can compare.
I have a question for you guys.... Mosfets that need cooling, which ones? (I color coded them to make it easy!) Please mention anything I missed!
As you can see, I put 8 on, I figured the red arrows need them, not sure about green or blue.
