    ASUS Nordic OC Weekend

    Marcus (Kinc) and I got inspired by the previous regional events to boost extreme overclocking and thought we would organize one in Sweden. We invited six people to the ASUS Nordic office where we provided the latest hardware from ASUS and Intel for them to play with on LN2.

    The participants were:

    Mean Machine
    ME4ME
    Gbglassen
    Exs
    Calathea
    Evil_ananas

    I'll provide some pics of the participants and the venue, hopefully they will post their own pics and results here later

    So, a few GTX 480 results then, mostly thanks to ME4ME, I didn't really help out that much.

    33k Vantage:


    Once "we" were done with that, we decided to shoot for some 4x5870 benching, just like we did a few months back at my place, only then we had a really crappy B1 ES that barely did 5.3GHz through Vantage. Armed with a much better CPU that did it at about 5.9GHz (although with only one stick of RAM) it all looked a bit better this time.

    First of was Vantage, 52k+

    I think all of the invited people have a lot of fun with bench new hardware from Asus, and ofc this team have some good scores

    Actually, what I have on those pics from friday is the definition of a lack of haircut. It's simply what has grown on my head since I shaved it off last time.
    It was way less bad on saturday, but by then only Kinc was running around with a camera. But then again, if you're really interested in my looks, you can always get a private webcam session on MSN cheaply. :P

    It's mine, I modded (melted) it (2kw, 600*C, €30)

    We have infiltrated the ASUS Nordic office, Kinc is working there.

    I used that gun to melt the mounting kit for one of the pots right before we left at 3AM sunday morning. It was plenty powerful alright.

    Had lots of fun this weekend! Thanks Kinc, Elmor and ASUS for a great event, support and fantastic hardware rIIIe is badass, best board I`ve ever tested.
    Me and "Thematrixkiller" teamed up took turns benching and pouring LN2. We had some trouble getting proper speed on the cpus we tested but eventually we sorted it out and got some results.

    We had Cooler Master Silent Pro M 1000W PSUs, used two of them for the four graphics cards, to not risk anything.
