Raptor Sata Problems Help Plz

heyhey,

i jsut got a raptor 36.6 10k rpm . i have an ic7max3 mobo (if anyone of u have one theres 2 sata plugs and 4 more at the bottom . i know the first drive u got u plug in plug 1 or 2 but it confuses me cause on lpug 2 it says sata 1 and plug 1 sata2 ... ) well thats not the main question . my main question is that i have an ATA hdd that i would like to put as slave but even in slave windows always boot from it cause its IDEMASTER1 and raptor IDEMASTER4 . so i was oh well ill remove my HDD then plug my cdrom on ide1 and burner on ide2 and my raptor ide4 . but then i format and install windows but it still does same prob like its trying to start from idemaster 1 ... so u know how ic an change proprites so it boots from ide master 4.

hmm if u need specs of my comp its : ic7 max3 , p4 2.4c@3.2 , khx3500 , and an other maxtor 40gb ATA .... hope u help :P

just go in bios, basic CMOS settings, and set the raptor the first one and the IDE1 the second one.
