    EVGA has started selling single slot PCIe brackets for the GTX4xx line of cards!

    I couldn't wait so I just dremmeled out one of the old style single slot brackets. It took all of 30 seconds

    LOL.. Thanks.. Yeah I just wanted people to know how easy it was. I probably could have widened the hole with a file in under a minute as well as I didn't have to take much off of it at all and it fit. It allowed me to use my X-Fi XtremeMusic in between my 2nd and 3rd GTX480 so I was very happy.

    Your so freaking cool man! Good thinking!! why pay $10 a bracket when everyone has some old video cards laying around they wouldn't mind robbing the brackets off. I'm going to try this when i get home tonight!!!! What I'm going to do is install single brackets on my reference cooled GTX 470s in SLI for 0% restriction rather than the high flow brackets which provide less restriction than the stock bracket. CYA! :p

    does the pci bracket sit in flushed when installed inside a case?

    i would think the bracket would get shifted up a few mm if u used an old bracket no?
