Interesting question, I can only tell you that my worst 3 sticks need 1,66V Memtest stable for 1015 7-7-7-20 1T- this might be the worst case scenario as far as I have experienced till now, but my combo is no c7 wonder. These sticks scale up to what Iīve tested 1055 at same timings with 1,74V, not more V tested. As told my rig clocks better at C8- every stick of my Project x runs 2250 C8 at 1,63V memtest stable or above- but as said before here several times, I think luck might be a big point, even if Iam convinced if your STT run normal they will blow the Corsair 1866 away

Don't expect much more than spec, they are still binning old stock, I notice the kits going in and out of stock a lot. I think if they can get a kit to do 1001 7-7-7-20 1T 1.65v they will probably sell it as a 2000 C7 kit. It just depends on luck I guess. My 2200 C8's are not great at all. ~1700 CL6 @ 1.7v. I was able to do 7-7-7 up to 1900 though, but then I run into IMC problems.

For starters I'm having hard time to run their spec, 2000 7-7-7-21 40 112 2T 1.65V (1.66V in bios) is not memtest stable (based on xmp profile 2 numbers), many errors occure from the memtest start with each module...

So this is their 1.65V limit, it's the same no matter what combination is used, 143*14, 167*12 or 200*10, 2000 is not stable (my GT's run 2000 7-8-7-20 1T 1.68V) so I have to find 2000 memtest stable voltage

Glad to see I'm not the only one. For 8x HyperPi 32M stability with the 2000 C7 sticks I have to go over 1.65v.

Thatīs a real disappointing result- I would try if the GTs do the 2000 7-7-7-21 with a little bit more V to rule out the IMC and then try to set the timings personally because I donīt trust XMP. If the kit doesnīt meet the specs I would return or RMA them. I am really surprised, you are the second one after shiranui whose kit doesnīt work, I have(had) ten sticks of the ProjectX from different weeks, 2 triple Kits and 4 single sticks, and none of them failed memtest at 1000 7-7-7-21 88 1T with 1,64V, most of them passed at 1,616V, my best 2200 Cl8 needs 1,66V at least for this and a Kit of 2133s I had didnīt even boot at 1,7V with these timings. Seems there depends a lot on luck if you get good sticks with the 2000 C7

The Dominator GT 2000C8 kit can definitely do 2000 7-7-7-20 1T@1.65v 8x HyperPi 32M stable.

I bet not all of them can I've seen some guys on AMD here with that hit and they couldn't hit 1800 6-6-6 while I've hit 1800-1845 6-6-6-18 1T just fine.

When I upgrade my CPU I'll see what these sticks can do CL7 but I'm pretty sure 2000 7-7-7 will not be a problem.

We all only paid $100 a stick so it's not like they were $450 a kit or anything I got my 3x2GB 2000 CL7's for $290.

I meant my kit specifically. Apparently a lot of the later batches of the 2000 8-8-8 kits weren't binned tightly at all.

    1800 7-7-7-21 36 72 1T 1.66V memtest stable (1.68V set in bios)
    2000 7-7-7-21 40 80 1T 1.66V memtest stable (1.68V set in bios)
    2200 8-8-8-24 48 96 1T 1.66V memtest stable (1.68V set in bios)

    Ok, I'm not disappointed, for 300$ 3x2GB triple channel very nice performance, CL6 is crap, my GT's are CL6 superb, 1864 6-6-5-15 1.75V 32M stable, 1800 6-6-6-18 1.70V stress stable, STT can't even boot at 1800 6-6-6-18 1.76V

I'll switch to Rampage III Extreme for some more experience with STT, but I will keep them

Considering I'm stable at ~1830 6-6-6-15 with 1.73v, that suprises me. I'm pretty sure I can boot at 1800 with 1.69v.

I think we are all well served, we can easily compensate a 50-100Mhz DDR3 diference (while in same timmings of course).

Thatīs great for you- but considering the 2000 Cl8 GTs cost about 380 Euros in germany and rest of europe now if you get them, which is more than 500 Dollars, and there are no 2000 C7 or 1866 C7 anymore, I rather go with PSC or cheaper hypers if I get them^^

No more Corsair C7- and no OCZ/G-Skill or other manufacturers- STT is more or less the last one with Hypers on the market, there are very few other companies offering rams with MGH-E or MNH-E, and none of them seems to offer 2000 C7^^

This is not usable with Bloomfield but I like it Corsair is very expensive in my country, last price for new GT 1866 C7 3x2GB kit when they were available was 535$ so I'm satisfied with 300$ STT

Thatīs why I donīt use XMP- only if if I have problems booting which never occured till now- depending on BCLK stable bench- or 24/7 settings should run with a lot less VTT, I recommend trying to find your settings via testing- itīs not only STT that puts such V on VTT in XMP Profiles, my 2200 Team had the same setting

Many people think around 1.45 vQPI is the max for 24/7. As said above, XMP profiles set it excessively high, many think dangerously so. Just test and find what the IMC needs for the sped you want.

i've a STT 3x2 GB 2000 cas8 kit MGH-E-Hyper but seems that they work good ONLY with 2:8 multiplier on my classi 760.

    i can do this...

...but if i use 2:10 or 2:12 windows ALWAYS freeze in the first 5 loops of the 32M when memory frequency is higher than 1700 MHZ.
using cas8 or 9, higher VDIMM, different VDIMM reference, different subtimings and RTLs don't help at all...
i've also a 3x2 GB kit of kingston 2000 MGH-E-Hyper that work great with every DRAM multiplier.

My E762 doesn't seem to like the STT MGH-E sticks much either on those dividers, though the lastest BIOS (76 for the 4-Way) seemed to improve compatibility somewhat. Nice to hear the HyperX 2000 C8 work well with the Classified boards, I may have to try to track down a kit.

sup guys !!! well enjoying my first I7, my first tripple channel mem and my first SLI

i had to push vdimm and vtt a bit to make this stable sill have some work to do as uncore x17 needs any volts somewhere, i can pass lots of tests game BC2 medal of honor at full hd ultra settings and 32X AA but linx will run some tests and freeze wich indicate mem, CL6 i think gets hard so far i love it

that 24K copy aint real, its 23k and latency is 39,3, will post a screen when i get home

any suggestions are wellcome, im needing 1,68 real vdimm as my mobo X58A UD3R rev 1 seems to undervolt

    Cheers !
