It's suprising how much stock of Elpida Hyper Super-Talent has. They've already sold a ton of these, and half their kits went out of stock, yet they are now BACK in stock.

I noticed the 2000 CL7 are now gone so maybe they binned those to keep the 2200 CL8 in stock.

    thanks mate, i found these
    "Super Talent Speed Series DDR3-2000 6GB (3x2GB) CL7 " for $250 , What do you think?

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

They are as good as the 2000 GT's, as for the kingstons you'd have to give us the model. I'm currently reviewing the kit @ CAS 6 for Techreaction.net...

Yes, both use the "fixed" Hyper MGH-E.
    ...

The Super Talent 2200 CL8 kit.

    I'm testing voltage scaling from 1.5v to 1.6v then 1.65v and 1.7v at 6-6-6-18 1T.

Put the UD7 up for sale on evil-Bay and grabbed a(nother) P6X58D-Premium. Initial testing still shows I can't get DDR3-2000 7-8-7 or 7-7-7 8x HyperPi 32M stable on stock 1.66v when running 166BCLK 2:12 or 200BCLK 2:10 ("Not Exact in Round" errors). This is using either my proper STT PC3-16000 C7 kit or the three PC3-17600 C8 sticks. Lowering to 8-8-8 I was able to drop my VTT to 1.45v however for 8x 32M stability.

It's weird, they pass Memtest with no problems but not 8x HyperPi 32M at 1.66v at those settings mentioned above. More testing will have to be done...

Memtest doesn't stress memory or uncore properly.
If something errors out in LinX/Hyper Pi/Prime95 at 5th minutes, it probably takes a few hours to error out in Memtest.
Web browsing is more effeicient than Memtest.

yes memtest not too good for mem testing I think. Better Hyper Pi for a quickie or Lynx/Prime for longer test

i dunno, linx stresses your memory so hard out that you wont ever stress your ram that far when encoding/gaming etc etc, I think memtest should be fine tbh..

that is normal Shiranui happened to me, hyper will go down if lower vcore, mch, vdimm or anything i told this many times when testing for stabilty but hyperpi is not considered a good stability test, but for me is very good for mem

    Cheers

Yeah, I literally can tell no difference between my 3x2GB DDR3-2000 C7 kit and my three individual sticks of DDR3-2200 C8.
