I don't think there's anything cheaper than the STT 6GB DDR3-2000 C8 kits at ewiz.

So the green PCB is Brainpower, I wonder if the black ones are as well. My Patriot Viper II kit uses black Brainpower PCB though the first kit I had that was replaced had green Kunyu PCB.

Too lazy to take a better photo so found what PCB is used from existing photo - seems to be Brain Power PCB

yeah these kits and Kingston 2000c8 kit i tested are cheaper elpida hyper available - for 6GB Super Talent 2200c8 equivalent price would be AUD$321 vs 6GB Kingston 2000c8 AUD$315

What kind of camera/lens are you using for those closeup shots?

The photos aren't a close up shots but crops of image taken around 40-80cm away from the memory modules. Using Pentax K-7 with Sigma 18-50mm EX 2.8 macro lens hand held

Anyway, got off my lazy butt and did macro shots for clearer read on the markings on Super Talent PCB

If you look under the lip of the heatspreader it says "BP ML XXXXXX" just like Hondacity's photo. It's definately a Brainpower 8 layer PCB.

I just with my set didn't suck...

6-6-6-20 @ 1720 1.71v is the max for these, already did 4 days of drive strength and stability testing.

Thinking of selling these and scrapping up the money for the Super Talent 2000 C7...

These are MGH-E, the old ones that randomly die are MNH-E. These are the new ones, the same ones Corsair uses.

Maybe. If you look at Super Talent's web site they don't necessarily like selling ram with 7-8-7 timings, 8-10-10 timings, whatever that isn't even. They only have 2 kits like that. :P I'd take a bet and say hyper. Just don't blame me if they arent.

    4GB of the 2200 is $180:
    http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=...nel-Memory-kit

    Add 2GB 2200 for $90:
    http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=...8X8-CL8-Memory

    Makes 3x2GB 2200 C8 for $270.

thanks Beep.and i wont blame you if they're not.
i was thinkng the same thing with the 2200's and buying the extra stick
but my only worry is that the one stick happens to suck ass
so i think i will just go the 3x2 kit and just live with 2000 speeds
woth it for the price of 215

my other option is the G.Skill perfect storm 3x2 ddr3-2133 cl9's

    Alomst 2400MHz 8-8-8 @ 1.7V
Jaw-breaking results as always George. Every time I see one of your threads, I just know it is going to be awesome Can't wait for some high voltage SPi 32M CL6 & CL7 action!

Could you please test 32M 6-6-6 and 7-7-6 at around 1.85V?

I haven't, but you have me curious now.

This system is stable at 4.57GHz and I've bumped it up to 4.615GHz for awhile to play games, but it's not 100% stable there. As far as memory goes they run well at CAS7 DDR-2047, but they are power hogs, so I haven't pushed them further than that.

I just took a look inside the case, and the only thing I can say without taking anything apart is that the PCB is black, and they say STT 702 like in EVA2000's pics. Not sure what that means.
