Apple® today announced that iPad™ sales have topped two million in less than 60 days since its launch on April 3. Apple began shipping iPad in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK this past weekend. We were pretty much spot on when we predicted the iPad's success in our story Apple's Magical, Revolutionary iPad Materializes. The iPad will be available in nine more countries in July and additional countries later this year, more sales records should follow whether you love or hate the iPad.

I finally saw an iPad today. Some kid in class had it out. And despite it being pretty useless and too expensive and all the other complaints, you gotta admit it does look quite purdy.
