If they can get the gold rating this would be a great PSU, I'm really hoping its modular also.

    beats me.
they're the ones who placed their links in http://www.corsair.com/products/ax1200/default.aspx

besides ... the gold standard has depreciated to give way for the platinum standard ... it used to be >90% on 100% load

hm... looks like 80PLUS change a lot nowadays

Is it Seasonic again for Corsair? How come Seasonic gladly makes 1000W+ units for other sellers yet does not bother to make a version themselves?

I'm very excited about this one! The colour theme black/gold is very nice also.

Fully-modular is a nice touch, 1200W single rail is badass. If they allow rma just the psu and keep the cables in the case. That would save a lot of time.

Also two more 850W,750W available from this AX series product line.

The AX750 and AX850 are Seasonic based. The AX1200 is neither Seasonic nor CWT but a custom design by Corsair by a new OEM.

    Impervo?

Core 2 Duo(Conroe) was based on the Intel Core Duo(Yonah) which was based on the Pentium M(Banias) which was based on the Pentium III(Coppermine).

Core 2 Duo is a Pentium III on meth.

How much is the antec in norway? 2500 norway dollars as said in that review is $386 us, which is pretty darn expensive. I haven't seen anything by a mainstream powersupply that expensive beside maybe a couple 1500w/1600w power supplies.

For 1200W, the most corsair can charge is 300 dollar which is basically still the most expensive 1200w out there.

    750GB Seagate.
