I'm looking for the fastest raid setup possible

I am xtreme and expect extreme answers on this forum so please don't ask me 100 questions "why you need something that fast?", I could be Bill Gates son for all you know. That's not important to you. Now, I Heard the fastest raid card in the world was the LSI 9261-8i, is that correct? Stick that with 8 intel X-25E Extreme SSD's in raid 0 and I've got the fastest HD setup in the world? I want the fastest, point blank. Bottom line. Period.

I refuse to believe the x25e's are still the fastest ssd's in the world. Isn't there anything that can mop the bathroom floor with the x25e's? I'll take 8 of them. Thanks

You just need to humble yourself on not sensitively take offense. Why do you think I'd say it like that? Simply because I know for certain I'll be hounded with that question and be called 'dumb' if I say nothing from the start. Come on, you know how questions like these turn out, then you need to dig for the answer. Don't worry I'm not mean at all I'm in a good mood. Just had to clear that up.

LOL maybe you should take some of your money and buy a case. Where are you going to set your 8 hard drives? You are supporting your motherboard with a dry erase marker? I see a lot of duct tape on your rig too. And if you have to have the best, get a water cooling setup in that case you should buy... I bet it would be a hell of a lot quieter and would let you increase component speeds. What could you possible need that harddrive bandwidth for? I guarentee you wont notice a difference between more raid controller cards.
