    Thanks for the heads up

Heres a run at default settings -

    --------
    Using Default Video Settings:

    Resolution: 1680 x 1050
    Texture Quality: 2
    Shadow Quality: 3
    Anisotropic Filtering: 16
    SSAO: ON
    Vertical Sync: OFF
    DX11 Tessellation: ON
    DX11 Advanced Shadows: ON
    DX11 MSAA Samples: 1

    Benchmark Summary:

    Number of frames: 4139
    Average Frame Time: 25.3ms
    Average FPS: 39.5

    --------

Its worth mentioning that texture quality defaults to medium and not high.

The results file outputs to your user/documents folder by default. The config can be changed in the install directory to alter video settings as well.

    Note:
Disregard this result as it was achieved with 1 run only. Additional runs resulted in much higher performance.

apparently ATI spank Nvida all around.

I have a quadro card so I wouldn't know.. I don't play many games anyway.

You guys should run a standard baseline res 1680X1050 (or something like that) to get a good picture of performance of the different hardware.

I think a parts list next to the benchmark would do some justice

I don't care what some benchmark site got. My GTX480 got higher performance on this benchmark than another user's 5870 (who had his card overclocked by a larger amount than mine), and mine had higher settings to boot. Results from other users in this thread are painting the same picture as well.

Sorry I don't know what you are smoking. The results are pretty clear. No, my baseline wasn't the same than the one in post #3. Mine has the graphics turned up even higher. If I used the same baseline, the performance would be even higher.

Maybe in the benchmark but not in the game itself. The second AA is turned on, the NV cards surge to the front. Without AA, ATI dominates.

The AMD slides say that the benches were done with 197 Forceware drivers. The 257's might have changed the situation.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

That chart is about 15fps off from my matching system, with a slight OC.

you might want a better/more reliable source. for some reason AMD likes to put the 5000 series ahead of the 400 series.

Guys, we are all running the bench at medium settings without AA. We should run with the command line -config=name_of_your_config.txt and create a config file.

My default results with a HD5970 at 850MHz and 19x12 for comparison:

    Resolution: 1920 x 1200
    Texture Quality: 2
    Shadow Quality: 3
    Anisotropic Filtering: 16
    SSAO: ON
    Vertical Sync: OFF
    DX11 Tessellation: ON
    DX11 Advanced Shadows: ON
    DX11 MSAA Samples: 1

    Benchmark Summary:

    Number of frames: 9188
    Average Frame Time: 11.4ms
    Average FPS: 87.7
