Mount an EK Multi Option Res 150 Upside down?

Is it possible to mount this reservoir upside down(still vertical) and have flow of fluid remain the same?

it's water-tight, you can mount anywhere. just as long as the barb is tight ... lol

That's what I thought, just making sure!

One outlet is all you need.

I mounted my EK Res's upside down. I've got them screwed directly into the pump inlets and the "top" cap has the barb centered while the "bottom" cap has the barb slightly offset to one side. So I mounted them upside down so that everything was aligned nicely.

Mounting it upside down only has one "real" drawback. The clips to hold the anti-vortex insert are built into the "bottom" cap, and (upside down) the "bottom" cap is now at the top of the res rather than at the actual outlet for the water. Not a huge deal though.
