Phenom ii x 2 555 BE motherboard question

Hi All,
Firstly forgive me if i've posted this in the wrong place and feel free to move it elsewhere if you wish.
I've purchased a phenom ii x2 555 BE cpu with the hope of unlocking the 3rd and 4th cores.
can anybody recommend or guide me to the link for motherboards that are able to do this. I no i need an AM2+ as i would like to use my existing 4g ddr2 667ram. I also no i need SB710 and a mobo that supports acc. Just need a pointer in the right direction please. Budget around £50/60 and i'd like onboard with hdmi interface as i'm more media orientated and not a gamer.

newegg.com? look under amd 2+ motherboards. i like asus motherboards but some say MSI is good. there are others.

Was wondering though if anyone knows of any mobo's that have unlocked cores 3 and 4 of the 555 BE.

most 785, 790 and 890 mb will unlock the cores, it will depends on the cpu itself, successful rate of unlocking the 555 is low.

Gigabytes 890 would be the best Bang ,,but you Need a DDR2 MOBO....

So it will have to have a 790GX chipset or 785 for onboard and AM2 unlocking...

Just so you know what You asked for.....

1st Gigabyte ,,2nd MSI or 3rd Biostar DDR2 MOBO's for a Stable unlock and Yes ASUS can be a little buggy but do work....

you can have the best in both world, look for the magic-pro MP AKGX-ultra M-ATX, it uses the 790GX chipset, and supports both DDr2 and DDR3.

Guys,

Thank-you very much for all that info. I shall have a look at them over the next few days. Seems there are quite a few options and routes i could go. I may even go the ddr3 route and sell my old ddr2 pc. Plenty of thought to be done.
