    This is a public event. Anyone can see the event, RSVP, or invite others to this event


    In order to show our appreciation for all you GIGABYTE fans who have “liked” GIGABYTE Motherboard Tech Column on facebook, GIGABYTE will be giving 1 motherboard per week from May 17th to July 31st. All you have to do is answer the weekly question (in the discussion section) and you will be automatically entered to win that week’s motherboard (winners will be randomly selected). We are giving away a total of 10 motherboards, so make sure to enter every week and invite your friends and family to “like” GIGABYTE Motherboard Tech Column as well.

    But that’s not all. We are also looking for GIGABYTE motherboard’s #1 fan on facebook. From May 17 to July 30, show us you are our biggest fan by:
    • writing a comment on our mainpage
    • answering the weekly questions
    • adding a photo or video (can be you, you and your system, etc.)
    • anything else you can think of that will get our GIGABYTE judges to name you GIGABTYE Motherboard’s #1 Biggest Fan
    • be creative and have fun. The more you show us, the better your chances!

    In August, GIGABYTE will announce on facebook who we think proved to be our biggest fan (voted by GIGABYTE staff). The winner will receive a golden ticket to Taipei ,Taiwan at the end of September to watch this year’s GO OC (GIGABYTE Open Overclocking Championship). The prize package will include airfare to Taipei, 4 days and 3 nights accommodation, meals, ticket to the event and sightseeing along with the overclockers.


    In order to win the trip to Taiwan, contestants:
    • Must be 21 or over
    • Must have a valid passport (passport must be valid until at least February 1, 2011).
    • Must not be an employee of GIGABYTE

    Additional Rules:
    1. This event starts on May 17th, 2010, and ends on July 31st, 2010.
    2. Posts must be in English to be considered.
    3. Must “like” GIGABYTE Motherboard Tech Column in order to participate.
    4. The weekly motherboard winners will be randomly selected, and each week’s winner will be announced on the GIGABYTE Motherboard Tech Column fan page.
    5. The winner shall be deemed waiving his/her rights to the prize if the winner fails to claim the prize within 2 weeks from the day the list of winners is announced or if the winner fails to comply with the required procedures.
    6. Winners will be disqualified if GIGABYTE is unable to notify the winners due to incorrect contact information provided by the winners.
    7. As stipulated by tax-laws of Taiwan, if the prize exceeds NT$ 13,333 in value, the winner as a local resident of Taiwan shall pay 15% of the tax. If the winner is a non local resident of Taiwan, they shall pay 20% of the tax.
    8. GIGABYTE has the right to change words, pictures and prizes mentioned in for this contest at any time. All changes, if any, will only be announced on the GIGABYTE Motherboard Tech Column fan page.
    9. GIGABYTE is responsible for the expense of delivering the prize, but the winner is responsible for any tariffs or additional taxes related to the prize.
    10. All prizes shall be real objects and any requests to exchange for equivalent monetary amounts or other substitutions shall not be allowed. GIGABYTE has the right to substitute the prize for a different prize of the same value if the prize is not available.
    11. GIGABYTE is not responsible for any damage, delay of delivery, wrong delivery or loss in the course of delivery of the prize.

    It's simply i think , employees engaged by an "work contract" and paid by Gigabyte aren't allowed (the media press , journalist and overclocker are allowed).
