Portal - Free on Steam

I know a lot of folks don't like Steam (I'm mostly *meh* about it myself), but for those who don't mind having it on thier system...

Steam is currently giving away Portal for free until May 24th.

So, if you don't mind Steam and haven't picked up Portal from the Orange Box or elsewhere, here's your chance.

(I checked it out, and yes it's really free. No hoops to jump through, extra registrations [other than Steam itself], etc)

I really didn't expect Steam and Portal to work on Linux.. but they did :]

Downloaded it about 6 hours ago, just completed it right now. Pretty disappointed with the game tbh.. it was good but not 'Valve good', at least in terms of gameplay mechanics. In terms of everything else, it was up there with the best... Still, can't complain for the price and it was nice and short meaning it doesn't take over your life for a week, like most games do...

Now, when's that native Linux port of Steam coming around?
