thuban + AM2+ = max RAM save voltage?

i'm planning to go for AM2+ board (from AM3 ) and looking to buy some fancy ddr2 1200 ram. but usually they are high voltage stuff. so i'd like to know how much of v i can give on IMC to not burn it and this would also clear out my "chose of ram" problem.

    thx in advice!

I put 2.5v into my good sticks without issue for benching and ran 2.3v for 24/7

    It's fine.

    Why the downgrade?

I have a set here that does 1220 at 1.8v
