    Project RV1000

After some time hangin around here i thougt lets post my casemod here, still building it.

I bought a secondhand LianLi v1000B plus, it was already coated black so that was a +.

When it got here after 2 days i was verry happy, Lets unwrap the mother!:coke:

Then i scared the hell out. My eyes were seeing this:

Now that says enough, some fatdude/chick have used my case as a chair.

Wtf how much weight do u need for that kinda damage to a LiLi v1000

After some calls and mails i got the green light to fix the damn thing.

So i disambled the whole mofo and start beating it up(in a good way), and i Got some good results.

Used: heater, hammer, 3clamps,piece of 4sided tube.

So lets go on then, my base was OK now and 100% in 1 line.

    Thats some good progres.

    After 2 days i got myself 2 HWlabs blackGT's.

    1st location.

Some fancy LiLi fanconnectors for the eye side :crack:

    Got myself some awesome goodie!

It look like an triangular sandingmachine, but what can he do more?
Hmm i can do some sawing with it, so lets try it on my sidepanel.

Give the sidepanel some protection and drawed my design on it.

    The idea for the panel.

Than i hooked the sanding machine whith the pre-ordered sawingblade.

Thing working like hell! damn so ing straight

Otherwise, i need to file it bij hand sooooo, hmm the machine is nice but still need some elbowgrease to make it worthy.

First half is done, looks awesome-o

Not 100% but that is for some othertime, my fingers where hurting like hell.

This looks good right? (the res was a mock-up but hell no its not worthy the case like that)

    Time to set rad Nr2.

    Some protection/holy modderstape.

Made myself some template(look good :P)

Grabbed my FEIN again and attacked the case.

    The Toy himself.

After some cleaning and filling.(the edges wil be made black again)

    Pinned down.

    Looks Ok for me boys!

Got the rad back in place.(whith the mockup res)

Got some lexan plate an taped it up.

    Get the FEIN again WHaha.

    Let the machine work

That cut to the correct size,

After some playing whith the FEIN.

    Kinda rough edged

    After some filling

    After some sanding

    Holes?

    1 to-go.

Some old what im working whith.

    2 holez.

    Now that fits quite good!

Ripped of the tape and drilled some holes and countersink it.

Time to get the switch inplace.

After test fitting it, it fits.

    Mockup.

Painted the piece black, for the pwerfect finish.

Its all done now, im verry happy whith the looks!

After these thing some time goes by, then i got some mail of 2 people/companies who wanted to sponsor me, after some dealing i went for the best deal.

    the sponser is:

Got some goodies after 1 week.
    The box contains:

EVGA GTX295 single pcb Bitspower black freezer VGA block.(look freaking awesome!)
EVGA classified Full cover block+mosfet black freezer.
    a TFC Xchanger 120 rad.
    Some fanrubbers.

Im so happy whith it u know my setup now to :P(a little).

    Some better pics.

So back to the modding again.

Got myself an John Lund res and give it this place.

Give the Xchanger 1.120 rad this place:

After deep thinking(LOLZ) i have made myself a drawed loop, for the idea,
Pump is a d5+BP modkit and top.

    Thats is for today.

LOL! I wouldn't touch it if it wasn't for the fact that its silver. I am either going to strip the anodizing and get it re-anodized black or powder coat it Mirror black(which i think would look awesome but it would be fingerprint city)

KEWL! I love that your doing this to the same case as me. Gives me ideas and a look into how things fit in your case. I was wondering how tall is your res? and maybe 1 or 2 more pics of how you set up your pump. thanks

First of al i made some holes.

    Modded the mountingbrace

The standard measurement was to low, so i drilled the holes 1cm further, now its perfect!
    Before.

    After.

    Mounting the brace.

Getting the pump on his place.

Putting the res on his place.

    See u again tomorrow!

From the looks of it the case must have fallen out of a second story window. The damage occurred when the piano on the third story fell on it.

Good work beating the aluminum back into shape; it certainly is not forgiving like steel...

    Excellent work.

The only thing I would change is this. Here you have the pump mounted with the screws on the bottom. I think it would look better if you had the screw heads on the top (visible) and the nuts on the bottom (hidden).
