While it is as close to perfect as anyone can get it, have a seggestion or two if you're like me and don't leave things well enough alone.............

Down the road when your bored and the weather works for you (this requires painting) how about:

    1. Paint the flat area around the front panel plugs and
    2. Paint the face plates of the two optical drives

the green as this would fit right in with the scheme of things......then again why mess with something that already is a class act?!?!?

jedihobbit - Thank you very much for sayign its close to perfect

I did consider painting the front IO panel surround and just the tray section of the optical drives, but I ran out of paint and nowhere seems to have it in stock anymore .. that and as you say I need good weather for it. Maybe in the new year.

I think I'll have to pop the IO port out again as one of my LED's doesn't work now..crappy solder job by me I expect, but I can live with that for now.

Been there done that with paint.....if you do decide next be aware of shade difference between different batches. However that color should do okay.

And as you said there is always next year when doing other things!! So take the time now to enjoy it as I have a habit of changing things shortly after building and they never get used for what they were supposed to!!!
