i'd just feel like i was wasting time instead of fine tuning my skills in BFBC2....
thanks, ill try and get it, i want to try and use hacks in a FPS game, but i never wanted to do it in a game i actually played hehe

I probably spent about 40hrs late last yr in MW2.
Server/lag wasn't bad though the host dropping in the middle of game was annoying, there are some cheaters here and there when I played (not sure about now), but the obvious ones weren't around that often (ie 25-2 K), so it wasn't too bad. Some hated the narrow (console) POV, it was annoying at first, but you adjust after a little bit.
Overall, it was a good game, it was fun and exciting. The only reason I stopped playing because it got old really quick. Rounds go by so fast, you end up playing the same map a couple of times within 2 hours. And since I played it everyday, it was too repetitive after a while even with the different game mode. If the stimulus package was free, I might play a little, but there's no way I'm paying EXTRA for a map pack when the game was already $60! With that said, the thing I LOVED about MW2, steam integration, the fact that you can start a party with your friends BEFORE joining a server. It makes playing with friends that much more enjoyable.
A wiseman once said, "If Bible proves the existence of God, then comic books prove the existence of Superheros."
i played it on the last free weekend. It's not bad, the lack of dedicated servers and occasional lag wasn't to bad. The small player size though isn't up my alley, but it kinda of works on the maps.
i wouldnt buy it though. Just another COD, getting stale gameplay wise.

Course, everyone using Your connection had the same ping, 0
The game lags because of the way its hosted, person to person hosting ala consoles is shíte, it picks the player it thinks has the best connection, which 5 mins later may not be the case, they may have crap connection or even a crappy pc. With a dedi server lag only affects the player, not everyone else. Then there's also the issue where the host decides in the middle of a game that its time for tea

you obviously did not get what i meant
with 10 bar ping hack you get 10 bars instead of 4
10 bars= 0 ping
everyone had ~6 bars, not just the people in my party, the people in my party also had 10 bars since we were on the same network
6 bars is good ping when you arent the host.
How can you make a comparison about online gameplay quality when you're using the same network?
All along the watchtower the watchmen watch the eternal return.
Exactly
There are threads everywhere about the problems with not just this game, but any pc game hosted in this manner. It might "kind of work" on consoles with everyone having identical hardware, but not on pc where everyone has completely differnent specs or pc's not capable of playing the game in the first place, then You got the virus scans, updates kicking in etc. Even the consoles can't avoid the lag created when someone else on the same connection in the house clicks a Youtube link, imagine them being the host, dedi server minimise this as only the player lags.

Regardless of how people keep trash talking about MW2, I still enjoy the games and it's fun to me. At least it doesn't take forever to wait for servers and get kicked out in the middle of the game due to losing connection, not to mention can't login sometimes (like NOW) It seems BC2 did give me more headaches than MW2 did already.

I like BC2 because I already I played MW2 on brother's 360 I don't wish to buy it for PC which is another 60 USD even though I bought 125 (One sale cost I think 25) USD worth of BC2 copies.
Yeah, when I first played UT 3 I thought it was just me but the shooting seemed so random somehow. I don't know how to explain it but I was a really good UT player, 2K4 too. I used to dominate maps, especially Arctic Stronghold, I was unbeatable in that one and would win games by myself. But when I first tried out UT3 I couldn't get one freaking frag. They managed to ruin it. MW2 too. I dunno how they managed but they consolised the mouse movement. I freaking hate that. Although you have a mouse, I feel like I'm playing with a freaking controller. The main two axis are somehow too strong, almost like in Dead Space but not that bad. Maybe you can tune it up though. I didn't really have the time to dwell deep into configuring it. But anyhow for the short time I played it wasn't that bad, I mean yeah it has some flaws but it's not a bad game...
