Bricked DFI MI P55-T36 (mini-ITX P55 board)...any help?

Bricked my DFI MI P55-T36 during BIOS flash this morning (not sure what happened, just locked up during flash, I left it for a couple hours and still never finished, maybe corrupted on my flash drive)

Wondering if anyone has one of the DFI BIOSecure Programmer things: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=242076

...or a SPI Programmer that is talked about later in that thread. I don't want to deal with DFI RMA as it is pretty slow and a pain to get someone on the phone (they don't do email last I checked) that can understand my language well enough to send the package back to my address.

I'd love to borrow one if anyone has one and is willing to let me use it (I pay shipping both ways and a little extra for your time) or if anyone has another way to flash to latest BIOS without being able to boot the board.

when i called to RMA my second dfi mini itx i had no problem getting a response later that night by email and also a phone call next day. My RMA number was sent to me by email next day and I shipped it out that day. I then recieved new motherboard within 3 days since i am also in california

Maybe I'll give it a shot again, I guess the board doesnt even come with the BIOSecure mini-USB connection (glad they put links to BIOSecure in the BIOS flashing part of the MI's webpage )

Last two times I've RMAed with DFI they took 20-30 days round trip and twice sent me back boards exactly as I mailed them in.

call TEL: (510) 226-7500, i have never not gotten some1 right away and ask if they will send u a bios flasher or for an advanced rma. ive never had to ship but i got an rma number and approval to do it in person in about 20min, so i dont know about the shipping.

i know that they will ship out bios blocks so if u ask i could see them sending out an spi flasher on loan


last bios secure dosnt use usb it uses a pin out connector its on the mi p55 right next to the sata ports
