ASUS 4890, Afterburner and Smart Doctor

    Sup everyone

Finally decided to upgrade my 8800gt. Was lookign for a 5770 but i found a sweet deal here on a 4890.

The asus version has 2 voltage controllers. 1 for GPU, 1 for memory.

i've only used rivatuner and MSI afterburner for OCing. im not too hard core with that stuff.

Will afterburner allow me to change the voltage on both gpu and mem?? or will i have to use some of the other more tehnical apps?
I hear the powerplay drivers never tell the memory to downclock/volt and thats why the card eats so much voltage, i want to create a low power profile for non gaming with reduced gpu clock and mem clock and volts.

i also want to break the 1ghz barrier too..

i havnt recieved the card yet. just wondering.

    Thanks,

    Jimmy
