agreed... I just got into DICE! Its my only real effective way of cooling. The only heatsink I have is an old school Asus Artic Cube. It can't cool worth a damn....

    hence - xtremesystems

thats my opinion! But add me to the list

I'd have to disagree with extreme cooling; even water-cooling is a bit much for some teens and would keep the less-privileged from competing (just like many national/international competitions). I know for a fact that I'd have gotten more than an earful if I tried to build or use cascade, chiller, DICE, or liquid nitrogen, not to mention everything but DICE is too expensive.

Extreme cooling isn't too expensive... And if you aren't old enough to understand the dangers of "cold" then you probably shouldn't be posting around in xtremesystems for overclocking!

^THe cooling itself isnt expensive. But for some its tuff to deal with dead hardware. So they dont wanna risk it.

We may understand it, but our parents/guardians may freak out about it anyways.

Dangers with dice and ln2? Err there isn't many. I've got ln2 on my hands and feet all i've got it little chilling feeling. What comes to dice well it aint' that cold if you're quick enough. I've picked about 2kg of dice hails and put it into dice pot by bare hands, well you can't really squeeze the dice or let it have a good contact with your skin otherwise it might sting a little.

The only hazard of extreme cooling is gas buildup; a simple window-fan (if you're fully indoors) or a box fan (if you're in a garage) works wonders.

I did water cooling at 17.

Although I was a shut in, and had a job where I worked few hours and got paid lots.

So, this whole arrangement will turn into a penis measuring contest for 18-year-olds. Good for them.

Well im screwed. I dont have a fast internet connection and my parents are dragging me on a trip for my graduation the whole month of June. I will have a mobile i7 laptop though with a 330m for gaming (be it decreased skill).
