    Phenom II X6 1090T @ 6.65Ghz & 6.5GHz SPI 1M

    Hello guys,

I must tell you that this is a very fun CPU to play with. Unfortunately the single-threaded performance is lower that the Deneb (I investigated the issue here). I had some issues with the BIOS on the Crosshair IV Formula so for now I have only SPI 1M at almost 6500MHz and a validation at 6657MHz (validation file is corrupt, only validation I have is the SPI frequency that you can see here).

    Test platform:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T on LN2
MB: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula (0702 BIOS)
    RAM: Corsair Dominator GT 2x2GB 2000 CL8
    VGA: ATI Radeon HD 5970
    HDD: Samsung F3 500GB
    PSU: CoolerMaster RPP 1250W
All on Dimastech Bench Table Easy v2.5
    • SPI 1M @ 6491MHz

and the validation screen @ 6657MHz

I promise I will come back will more results with this promising 1090T .

    Regards,
    matose

No, I had problems with C1E which remained activated even if in the BIOS was disabled. Also random crashes even with default settings and air on CPU, the board is faulty... I must exchange it with another C4F.

hey, NB is ok 4400-4500MHz and I didn't try higher. Memory frequency was ok at 1000MHz but 1050MHz was boot but no Windows
