    @boostedevo/Ross... nice bclk

    ~ vtt voltage range you were using for running up to the 243 bclk wall? I look forward to more results with x19 and x21 multis.

    Hello guys,
    today I have received my new asus RE3, but I have a little problem...
    I have an ATI Radeon 5870 installed on it and each time I need to restart Win7, the mobo restart but gave no signal to video card.....
    The system boot, enter in Windows (I can hear windows sound) but no video signal.
    I must switch off the system, wait some seconds and then restart it, so the video card restart to run.....

    What you think can be the problem? I tried to install the video card in all the 4 PCI-E slot but same problem. I have connected all the molex on motherboard but nothingh....

    Thanx for replies

    Double check the power connections to the vid card itself. I had that same thing happen to me when only 1 of the 2 power connectors was not seated properly.

    Oh boy, thats a little scary, lol. I tried to purchase this mobo today but stock ran dry before I got out of bed. Now I have to wait for new stock, but I also have a Asus 5870 so hope its not an incompatibility.

    You have a good power supply?

    Hey Roger, 1.575Vtt, which is actually less than it needs for 235BCLK on the UD4P with high Uncore/tight mem. With lower Uncore and looser mem on the R3E, 240+ is OK with 1.4x Vtt. I haven't tried benching anything that high on the R3E though, was just looking for max BCLK. I got a 980X with the board, so I am going to drop that in tonight. I'll get some insulation made up this weekend and will put the 920 back on with the SS and post results when I do...

    0531 and 0534 are test/beta versions. they are both better for overclocking, especially under cold. I got more stability and performance.

    227 under water so far. But mobo and bios are brand new, so there is more room I think and I need more time to find out the right settings.

    Can someone who owns this board look closely to see what exact Intel LAN chip is used please? I spent hours scouring the Internet and not one review mentioned the exact Intel chip used, oh well it is a mobo made specifically for the overclocker in mind so who cares right?... But still I would like to know what LAN chip Asus soldered onto this board. Thanks in advance

    Sure wish this thing would come back into stock... lol

    Wow what a quick reply, thank you very much. I had actually gone to bed thinking it might be a while before someone answers this question. But the moment I layed my tired head down onto my pillow my Blackberry informed me of new email, haha. Might as well reply right away to say thank you.
