George's ( George O/C's I assume ) more than likely have different chips.
He's a coward and AFAIK he didn't remove the heatspreader yet to check the chips.

It doesn't matter, both kits have a low price in South Africa and might just make a nice 24/7 kit

Hey Oj. Didn't test with such low tRCD, ain't worth it from my point of view. 1600MHz 6-7-6-18 and 1800MHz 6-8-6-18 FULLY MemTest stable @ 1.68V ain't too shabby though

For me it's 6-6-6-x If you could test, say, DDR1500 6-6-6 it'd be greatly appreciated

Was actually trying to test the 980X's memory controller, so I started with really really loose timings ( 11-11-11-31 ), but gave them a quick test at 9-11-9-30 and it passed a few #5 loops ( 2 or 3 ) before I shut it down and left the room

    For 169$ I'd say yes, it's a bargain.
Not the best solution if you are a benchmarker, but for a normal user/gamer it's more than adequate.
