I have a boring old Zotac 9500GT sitting in my back up rig and I'm bored now so I feel like its a great opportunity to break out the soldering iron.
this card is passively cooled, and when not ghetto cooling modded gets up to 90C load. fortunately, I replaced the TIM with AS5 and strapped a 92mm fan onto it and now i have 52C load!
OK i now i have some IC numbers because i know those are important.
this is the back PCB that I have:
and here are the locations of the IC's:
i have a feeling that the one in the top right is Vmem and the one on the left is the Vcore. the number of the LEFT IC is:
PKCBP
74ACT08
the numbers on the one on the RIGHT are:
uP6161S14
VGK96U
IC on the left data sheet
http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/data...ukk71ktuwy.pdf
uP6109ASA8
one inside purple circle:
AT24C16B
datasheet: http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datashe.../AT24C16B.html
also, i found a semi-helpful thread here on XS that is done on a different revision of my card.
it refers to the IC labeled uP6161S14: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=196776
Any help is appreciated!
