    Q6600 Temperatures

I realise that threads like these are a little out of fashion these days, what with everyone having iX cpus now. :P

I have a Q66 G0 that I've been running at 3.4ghz aircooled (tuniq tower) for ages. I've recently been trying to get it running at 3.6GHz, and it does this fairly stable-ey at only 1.4v set in the bios, 1.36v idle and 1.312v load shown in cpu-z. It could probably do with another notch or two, but I've not had much time to stress-test it yet.

It idles at around 47C and loads at around 80C in stress-test apps, which after googling around, seems a fair bit too hot for a G0 at such a low voltage on a tuniq tower.

When I have some time I guess I'll try re-mounting the heatsink with some fresh thermal paste, but do these temps seem unusually hot to anyone?

EDIT: admittedly, this is loading with linpack, and it's around 70C load with older stuff like prime95 or just when running WCG.
