Personally, I am a big fan of the EK and XSPC tops.

My DDC reviews have been delayed... but for good reason, more tops arrived and will be included in the round-up and yes dual DDC3.25's are included. Testing resumes later this week.

gaww.. not to belittle your tests oor anything skinneee i love you.

but realisticly.. with how close all of the mid to high priced water cooling products now there really isnt that much of a differance bettween most things.. 1c-2c-3c.. +1 to headpressure.. +.5gph is that really that big of differance?

you could pick by looks alone and still get a really good cooling system now as most of the products are fighting for the "best" temps and they make their products and test against the others in house?

again im not talking crap. and i love your tests they are legit as I love having the lowest possible temps cuz im one of those people who buy they best just to have it.. lol. im just a hypocrite..

I would choose the EK over XSPC. I know for certain that EK products are made on real CNC equipment. Looking at some of the XSPC top volutes a few ppl have questioned here, I'd have to say that they are probably made by some 12Y.O. Chinese kid with a router that's getting paid $.05/piece.

Being the owner of one of those XSPC tops I would have to agree with you.

i think that XSPC tops look like as if they are low quality, don't know does it look that only to me or anyone agree?

The EK tops are much better in visual quality; Permformance wise, the EK has the top end flow rate and higher flow PQ advantage where the XSPC tops produce more pressure at lower flow rates (quick chart to make sense of my statement).

note: see why I am including more tops, 3 tops is rather bland for charting and a comparison.

My first XSPC restop leaked after 3 months... They sent me a new one overnight and it's been fine since. Nothing wrong with them and great customer service if something does go wrong...

XSPC modified the design of their tops last year, which was the 3rd version. For all retail purposes there is no versioning, just how I kept everything straight between the versions tested internally. Well, that and little sticker labels.

Did the versions with a reservoir change as well?

    I'm thinking of this one:

To my knowledge the res tops would've changed as well, yes. Probably depends on stock though. And the differences between versions were extremely small, within margin of error on my meters.

From owning both top's I'd agree the EK top has a higher quality but the XSPC isn't routed/cnc'ed or milled it looks like it is injection molded mostly, which is probably done for real cheap in China.

Sure, but I'd recommend this top along with TWO pumps for better flow.

    Excellent to hear Skinnee.
I hope the Watercools dual top, that is the one with the inlet in the top, is in the shotout.
But I guess as I already have it it doesn't really matter now.
Will be nice to see where it sits but.

All the best to y'a Skinnee.
