A Call to all Athlon II Crunchers

    Hello,
I'm looking to include support for Athlon II X2/X3/X4 CPUs in my WCG PPD Estimator. If anyone here has an AII CPU, please post or PM me the clocks, whether you are using x64 Windows/BOINC or x32 Windows/BOINC and the PPD you get. If you don't run pretty much 24/7, if you could also include the approximate # of hours a day you run, that would be great!

Expect a new version as soon as I get sufficient data

I have 3 Q6600's running at 3.6GHz and they generate roughly 2350ppd each. Keep in mind though these are dedicated crunchers so there is no downtime and nothing else is stealing cycles. 1500ppd is way to low though for 24/7 unless you are running stock clocks.

NK ... you have BOINC set to run using 100% of CPU time right? ... the default sets it to 60%

You may want to check your WU's on WCG's site to make sure your WU's aren't having errors due to your OC I know my i7 was like that.

You can go to the WCG site, sign in, go to "My Grid" and look under "My Statistics" on the left. There's links there for "My statistics history" and "Device statistics". There you can find daily stats for your whole WCG account or per machine. Points are listed in WCG points so divide by 7 to get BOINC credits.

Thanks a ton everyone who has contributed stats, once I get stats from at least 2 computers for each CPU type (X2, X3, X4), I'll update the estimator!

@NKRader: Something is way off here, my friend's Q6600 @ 2.4ghz gets ~1400 PPD average

So I think that at this point I probably have enough data between what I've collected here and at TPU, assuming I have enough time this weekend I'll update the estimator with full support for Athlon II
