Then, give it some sick DDR3 sticks that can do high Mhz with good timings and then pair it with home brew AMD Radeon 5970 . What you get is some sickening power under the hood, for years to come .
When do these come out in the EU? Will pair it with a 5850 and the rest of my current setup... nice

    Isn't that equal to 8 GPU's?

I thought x-fire was good up to 4 total GPU's. Unless I am obsolete on my knowledge of on the subject, which is know to happen LOL...

Edit: I thought I read 5970 My bad...

Hey.....had fun last night, guys ?!
Yes...it was on air cooling. I only do air @ home
I was surprised with the Thuban Temp. as well..... (Room Temp. 21c last night) around 16c core Temp., that's crazy. Maybe Everest just didn't read it right. 26c-28c CPU Temp. in Bios though

    For Flankerp,
Yes....that's the true volt., except the last 06 benching one...it should be 1.47v in Bios.

    For Duron
No....Centralfield can't sell any of them until the NDA is over. But you can pre-order it with Gordon. I just got one sample from the local supplier for testing only.

But the sleep/work thing gives me headache....you'll notice that @ the end of the video

Looking really good, I hope these things will sell like hotcakes. Judging by these numbers that should not be a problem.

    Nice chip Mad

As for CPU-Z reported speeds you will need to open 6 of them and set each one to a different core. That should mess up your desktop but at least you will know which core is doing what and at what clock

But yes, it would be easier if CPU-Z could show just 6xCPU clock in one window.

If you are talking about the 3DMark06 definitely YES

You can try Y-Cruncher too for Multi-threaded PI calculation. I am sure Thuban can compete head to head with i7

CPU score is awesome Mad, almost 8K! Windows 7 or Vista will show a lower CPU score but it is a lot better than deneb!
