I’m currently using ceramic paste on my TEC’s and it’s a pain in the $$$ to remove the residue when it’s time to reuse them on another project. What are some of the best methods or chemicals used to clean them without damaging the TEC?

Well I had to clean the paste off some of my TEC's and I just decided to use dish soap and water. It seemed to work pretty well. The surfaces are made of ceramic so they are pretty tough. I just wouldn't use anything abrasive.
I use contact cleaner .it comes in a spray bottle .ive also used brake cleaner ..Non chlorinated formula..cheap and readily available at any part store...just use em outside as they are tough on the lungs
I control my hardware
My hardware does not control me
Thanks...
I've used dish soap on my blocks and it works great but I wasn't sure if I could submerge my TEC's in water... I’m definitely going to try it...
The contact cleaner sounds good but I’ve never been able to find it in any at the local hardware / electronic stores.
