i dont think it fits any case mate. the backend will not fit anything since its not a standard layout.

but personally i think i will make something out of wood, its easy to work with and more stable than cardbord. and its not conductive.

ok here is some new shots of my CLEANED office / workplace
i have spend the entire day cleaning out garbage from this room, i think i had 25 empty cardboard boxes from items to these new machines.

    specs:
    laptop is core i7 620m
    MM is core i7 920 @ 4.2
    on the MM is another i7 920 @ 4.0
on that there is the dual socket f @ 1.9 with linux working
on the black table is the almost ready to run quad socket, just waiting on a gaphics card. ETA 2 days.

not in the picture is my htpc, its a core i5 661 @ stock, but crunching and its REALY REALY silent. its on a intel ITX board.

I'd be happy for the boards to be sent to OldChap, for example, and have him forward them on to me.
i'm still working on this, we might have to send them all at once to someone like old chap and then disperse them from there.

That would make a lot more sense to me.

Let me know when you've got a shipping estimate.

If you know what IP address it is going to get you can ping it once it gets booted. Or get VNC up and working for remote monitoring fun.

That remote stuff seems so intimidating but I'm going to need it soon. I'm building a makeshift server rack and I don't want to mess with a monitor. And if I could not use a video card on them as well then even better!

yeah i have a socket 939 dual core dfi system running without any video card. ubuntu (dotsch/ux) boots and runs fine! have vnc set up but I don't really use it, I usually just use Putty to get a ssh command line to do stuff, or run Boinc Manager on my main machine and connect to the boinc client with that.
