Rampage III Extreme - Showing off 50k Vantage

Just a VERY quick run to set the facts straight! R3E is a good board with potential when I get me some good tripple channel ram. (OCZ Blade 3x2GB 2133Mhz died, and OCZ offers me a poor reaper 1600Mhz in return.. "good job...")

Enough crap about OCZ, although it will be my last memory from them - ever!

The new Rampage is up to its task, and this was the first completed vantage run of the evening. (up early in the morning, so also last..)

    Rig:

    Intel i7 980X ES
    ASUS Rampage III Extreme
    Kingston 2 x 1GB 2000Mhz..... - enough said..
    MSI 4 x 5870
    Antec 1200

    Just edged it out.. 50k

    Pics of the masterpiece;

And the whole thing stacked with 5870

Coming back with some more "love" later on.. need to run this setup on full LN2..

    **dp** almost live from Norway.

Too bad OCZ didn't return ram of the same value. Great CPU score and 5870s action! It's a pretty board.

Look again...there is a 5th card laying in the background. Very nice looking board, but looks like a performer as well. Does that seperate OC module come with retail boards? Awaiting your cold results. Congrats!!

Hey DPA...at 1.8V+ I figured that..... but I meant the cards as well. I want to see your "NickS octopus impersonation"!!

Can U confirm about the OC module...or is that just for review samples, etc.??

Nice work! That board looks sweet

Question: The CPU with 6.6 written on the plastic, is that your i5? I wish I had multiple CPU's to write how high they clock on them :P

I take it Stoolman has the 980x retail from TG10?
