    Funny Little VC ! 1167Mhz on air ---> 9WR

    Hello,

    There's a long time i'ven't posted anything here. There's a long time i'ven't got some fun with hardware.

    I've been testing any HD5670 under 3DM2003 and found it very funny. No mod --> 960Mhz / 1.25V ---> 1060Mhz / 1.55V ---> 1167Mhz

    Some days after :

    I need some E8600 Power for the grand chelem ^^

    Nice score! Is it hardmod or voltage change through software? is it possible to change voltage in software for the 5670? What cooler are you using and how hot does the card get?

    Yes it's vmodded. I've swapped any 90mm +5000tr/mn instead of the stock silent 80mm. With the stock fan temps are 45° idle 75° full through a 3DM2003, with the 90mm 35°-65° max. 1140Mhz vs 1167mhz.

    Hehe, cute
    So the card is still fine despite running 1,55V on air? I was pondering whether to feed my 5870 more than 1,4V (on chilled water at ~15C max GPU) - guess I am now
