WHEW!! It was only the pump that was bad. Water leaked out of a fitting that worked loose due to torque on the tube, dripped into the pump housing, and shorted out the pump. Replacing the pump fixed the computer, no damage to cpu, gpu, motherboard, or drives, thank goodness.

I did realize just how dusty the insides are though, so I'll have to disassemble and clean everything. I also want to add a water block to cool the RAM (and make it look awesome). And I really need to work on the lighting and cable routing some more.

Unfortunately, the 20" white cold cathode tube I bought had connector problems. The connector fell off. Whoever crimped on the pins didn't do it right, I think. So now I need to contact the company that sold it to me and have them either fix it or send me some new pins which I can crimp on myself.

I have a great place in the case to mount the 20" light bar too... just need to have one that I can power up is all. I put a UV cold cathode in until I can get the white one working... that gives a fun glow, but not quite the look I want, so I'm going to change to clear tubing, blue fluid, and white lighting, I think.

    nice job man
I'm about to switch over to clear tubing and blue fluid. Blue fluid will be on order as soon as I figure out what fan controller, temperature monitor, and flow controller to order at the same time (to save shipping costs).

I replaced the pump and it works fine now.

I put in a UV blue cold cathode tube and it makes a nice glow. I have some other lighting setups to try still.

I do plan to change around the loops a bunch, add in a water block for the memory, change the blue tubing to clear tubing, change the clear liquid to blue liquid, and finish up the wire routing and the lighting for the case.

I hope to have some time to work on this again later this year, maybe over Christmas break. If so, I'll try to post some more pictures of the changes.

I've been working on cleaning and re-doing this computer. Adding in a water block for the RAM. I've learned... don't wait 4 years to clean out a water cooling system, too much buildup! Also lost a piece off of the motherboard block, so worried it might leak. Pics soon... and starting on a new build as well.
