    HP Pavilion dv2000 with Linux?

So a friend of mine has a DV2000 in windows its listed as a dv2500 either way has a x2 2.0Ghz processor I dunno anything about these laptops. Anywho, Vista sucks terribly on it. I'm guessing from the lack of ram. Its bogged down to no end and she doesn't have anything even filling up the HD. So she's down with Linux, I love Linux Mint but I have no idea how to setup wireless on it. I looked up instructions on how to do this and I was all Anyone running this setup or know how to simplify the instructions?

HP uses standard boardcom wireless for most computers with amd parts, to set up the wireless its the same as windows u get a linux install with a wireless manager then open it, search for the network put the key in and u are done
