If M$ was smart, they would make an XBox Phone. The time is now Microsoft! Do not let this opportunity pass you up.

No firm date but this Aava Mobile phone is probably the first Moorestown based phone we will see. I've no idea how much adoption Moorestown will get, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets used in as many handsets as the first Tegra chip.

Funny thing is that I've noticed that the loading screen seems to be more resource demanding than the actual game.

My card (gtx 295) will get hot and kick up the fans after minute in the loading screen and then you get into the game and it cools down.

its because the game is very cpu dependent, but the loading screen is not. turn on vsync and you wont have that issue.

yeah... "unfortunately, we can't log in to the servers right now", looking at how he barely hits the menu buttons it'd take him like 10 minutes to log in - and probably take another 10 mins to even do simple actions in the game

nonetheless, it's impressive the game even started.

WoW runs to this day on my 9 year old powermac G4 smooth as silk next to that demo, and with a 7800gs at 1920x1200 too. If it didnt run on every underpowered pile o garbage blizzard would not be getting subscription fees from 90% of the players. People on 10 year old emachines.

Show me in game @ Ironforge or whatever auction house is crowded in wow at this time @ 30 fps, then I will be impressed.

It has been some time since I have seen this, that Q3 video was nice, but well I do expect that this tech actually moves forward, considering that I played Doom95 4 years ago on my cell phone more than smoothly.

Ironforge is no problem, try the most crowded places in Dalaran instead.

Impressive, although I think the future of mobile gaming is cloud computing personally.

The iphone (3G) has quake 3 running and i'll think most would find out pretty soon (like i did when i tried it out) that what is AMAZING is not to run it but to actually play it properly with a stupid touch screen. They need to invent transparent fingers to see the screen, otherwise it's a great benchmark but nothing else.

The only think i do think a touch would work well is with RTS games. WIC on a mobile now that would be sick (nuke em whilst sending an sms).
