    NB - The BBWC is designed to fit to a special place inside certain HP servers.
    In other servers the BBU will be loose, or you can figure out somewhere to place it.

    The HP SMART array P410 is HP's PCI Express 2.0 (PCIe) Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) RAID controller. The low profile, half height Card has 8 ports and utilizes DDR2-800 memory. The P410 is ideal for RAID 0/1, 1+0, 5+0 and can be upgraded with the 512MB battery-backed write Cache (BBWC) module and SMART array Advanced via license key for RAID 6 &, 6 +0.

    i think that this controller will be my new investment FULLY custom.

    in other words.. the 9260 with 1G cache and.. AND custom queue depth..

    Changing the controller cache ratio
    The controller cache ratio setting determines the amount of memory allocated to read and write
    operations. Different types of applications have different optimum settings. You can change the ratio only
    if the controller has a battery-backed cache (because only battery-backed cache can be used for write
    cache) and if there are logical drives configured on the controller.

    Is that a standard ddr2 memory slot, i wonder if you could use 1GB standard registered ddr2.
