    Need netbook help... screen connections

I'm having an agonising train of thought. It involves netbook screens and a normal computer.

Has anyone come across any mod projects or guides to remove a netbook screen and convert it to DVI/VGA?

A couple guys at uni (back in the day) turned a laptop screen into an OHP overlay in their spare time, so im rrrrrreasonably sure ideas down this avenue are not total writeoffs

Do you know if netbooks adhere to the same standard as full laptops or if it was revised for them?

AFAIK all laptops displays have LVDS connection. Although physically the connectors are not all the same. The whole HDMI hype allowing to skip the analog signaling from VGA onto screen still not implemented.
