    470: ~55K
    480: ~63k (59k if 480 Shaders)

Based for 675 Mhz clock speeds... that'd be my best guess.

24 hour prime stable? Please, I'm 24/7/365 WCG stable!

So you can do Furmark, Can you Grid???

Interesting topic ... WAGs PPD based on WAG specs

I'm gonna go with 120k for the 480.
I'm thinking with a few more shaders (if 512) that a 295 then bump up to GDDR5 and then factor in the architecture improvements.
For what we are doing I think these cards are going to be freaking great.
Don't forget, GPUGrid is currently working through beta issues for another 25% improvement
If I'm wrong then I still get to kick some ascii with my 295

So looks like this will outperform a 295 by roughly 50%?

    surely a 295 will do 50k+ ??

I'm expecting the 470 to equal the 295

Well, all other equal, the 480 at same clock should be

    (512-448)/448 = 64/448 = 0.1428 or 14% faster/higher ppd roughly...

Anandtech are saying that they get about 3.5 times the performance in folding as a gtx285 that would be around 120k ppd here
