980X Batch #s (if they matter?)

Here's mine and results to follow-

I would have replied sooner but the compression explosion device in my motion traction system needed to be replenished with distillation fractionation of fossilisation extraction....

My X5650 B1 (Q4EJ) is different, an older one from last year. Batch# 3951Axxx.

These CPUs will most probably have different OC headroom for different batches too, but it remains to be seen. That's the most exciting part with a new CPU, actually.

Best start keeping track of the batch numbers early.
It's one hell of a mess with older i7 batch numbers on XS. I wish I made it a requirement for my LinX club by now...

Yeah, it is a good idea to watch and track batch numbers in a systematic manner.

The art of batch-tracking is actually half of the art of Ocing, in these days

B-batch? Interesting to see the OC headroom on this. Hopefully it is like the first i7-b-batches. Where did you get this?

I saw that as well. That's why I bought it elsewhere this time. Looks like they are trying to sell some of the RE II Extreme mobo stock before getting the RE III Extreme in.

Water cooling with bad contact on block. Dtec 1366 bracket on ver. 1 does not seat well
